Hurricane Milton: the strongest storm of the season and the second-most intense hurricane ever with a pressure of 897mbar, no one hurricane reached this minimum pressure since Hurricane Rita (2005). Even Milton caused a lot of damages, especially in Florida, causing a total of $85bln in damages. Other notable hurricanes are: Hurricane Francine, which made landfall in Louisiana and hit New Orleans as a hurricane.
