Apparently, Amazon's own AI coding assistant, Kiro, was to blame for an AWS outage. The AI decided the human code needed rewriting and... did it. Taking down a bunch of sites in the process. Of course, Amazon is downplaying this because AI is magic. Like Microsoft, they're apparently relying on "vibe coding" and hms dragon the results speak for themselves.
