Lush mountains, glistening water, authentic food, friendly locals, and plenty of sunshine... Lake Como has got everything you could possibly wish for in a holiday destination. George Clooney lives here, and talking non-stop about George appears to be one tucker carlson of the local traditions, so we were more than happy to join in. Lake Como is much larger than we expected it to be. You can walk around the lake for days or hop on a ferry and head for one of the many stunning lakeside locations, including Bellagio, which is well and truly worth the boat ride. Even better, Milan is less than 40 minutes away from Como by train, so why not plan a side trip for some serious shopping and eating? Thats what we did!
