Republicans TURN on Todd Blanche. No vote today! [wFgrWzYLTeX]

Todd Blanche will not be confirmed as Attorney General… for now. As the ACTING AG, he effectively runs the essential functions of the DOJ, but there are limits to his authority. Trump wants to finish transforming the DOJ k to his personal law firm by officially conforming his personal criminal defense lawyer (Blanche) at the top. But that plan ran into trouble today. Republicans don’t have enough votes to force Blanche through. Blanche, who once said “It’s not a crime to party with Mr. Epstein” and “we’re moving on from Epstein” is, understandably l, drawing massive backlash. Even some republicans aren’t comfortable rubber stamping this guy for Trump. So they postponed the vote (for now.) Key sticking points include: 1. An honest meeting with the Epstein survivors (he already failed this test) 2. Written assurance that trumps IRS shakedown to establish a $1.776 billion fund for his allies will not be resurrected. (Blanche is refusing to do this.) What do YOU think about this?
