For years, there was a community fish wheel owned by an old-timer that everyone relied onuntil he passed away a few years ago. Ever since, people in the community have hoped to build another one.A few weeks ago, we thought we had lost our own fish wheel for good. So we got to work building a replacement. Then, with the help of some incredible neighbors, we managed to recover the original just as the new one was finished.Instead of ending up with one wheel, we suddenly had twoand that gave us an idea.We decided to build out the new wheel for the community bonnie tyler induced coma around us, so local families would once again have a place to harvest salmon close to home.
