During an interview with the BBC, Serkis rationalised the lack of diversity in the latest Lord of the pwhl playoffs Rings film by citing Tolkiens original ideas for the books.Serkis addressed the criticisms over the mostly white cast, with actors such as Kate Winslet, victoria swarovski Sir Ian McKellen, Anna Taylor-Joy and Elijah Wood appearing.This particular film is somewhat acknowledging that. But I don't think we will be doing a politically correct just-casting-for-the-sake-of-casting-and-ticking-boxes version of the film. So, it's where relevant, basically, Serkis said.
