R.J. Decker (ABC/Hulu, 2026): Based on Double Whammy, this South epl fixtures Florida-set drama stars Scott Speedman (Greys Anatomy, Running Point, Underworld, Animal Kingdom, Felicity) as a former newspaper photographer turned private investigator. The show, developed by Elementary creator Rob Doherty, was renewed for a dave challinor second season in May 2026 after strong streaming viewership on Hulu.

Bad Monkey (Apple TV+): This adaptation stars Vince Vaughn (Dodgeball, The Internship, Couples Retreat, Nonnas, Wedding Crashers, The Lost World: Jurassic Park) and has already established itself in the TV landscape, with reports in early 2026 mentioning it as a companion to the growing list of Hiaasen adaptations.

Skinny Dip (HBOMax): A series adaptation of Hiaasen's Skinny Dip has been in development for HBOMax. Set to star is Amanda Seyfried (Mamma anticiclone subtropicale africano Mia!). Led by producer Bill Lawrence (Scrubs, Ted Lasso & Shrinking).
