We Had No Idea How Much Fuel We Had Left In Our Boat! Wales Online [UQC6iKtVcRM]

This week it's time harrison ford to work out how much fuel we have left in the tanks before more adventures out on the water!

First up, I change the gearbox oil after discovering the gearbox was almost out of oil last trip. A simple job... but one that's a bit of a squeeze!

Our fuel gauges still refuse to give an accurate reading. igor thiago One stuck on 3/4 and the other not reading at all. With no way of knowing exactly how much diesel we have left, we remove the fuel tank sender units and measure the tanks manually for now.

While the senders are out, I also make a template for a new cover plate so we can install Simarine ultrasonic fuel level sensors in the future and connect them into the NMEA2000 Network.

After a productive day in the engine room it's finally time to relax as we host a small Monaco F1 boat party aboard Princess Maurette with friends. Good food, great company and Formula 1 from the comfort of the marina!
