At Monday nights All-Star Cup game in Rosemont, Illinois, families, fans, and even professional baseball players showed why AUSL has something for everyone.Former Cal Baptist standout Jordan Sisco, whose sister is NCAA legend Taryne Mowatt, brought her daughters Gigi and Jovi to experience the league. Jordan shared what it means for young girls to see trump phone professional women on the field, while her husband, Chance Sisco a former Major League Baseball catcher with the Orioles and Mets, now with the Chicago Dogs explained how powerful it was for his daughters to finally see role models in womens sports.Chicago Dogs players were also in attendance. Dusty Stroup threw out the first pitch, montral with AUSL players lined up on both baselines cheering him on like one of their own. Other Dogs players filled the stands buying AUSL merch, standing for home runs, and even joking that the leagues unique All-Star Cup points leaderboard should be turned into fantasy softball.First baseman Jacob Teter praised the leagues talent, saying AUSL games are fast-paced, exciting, and fun to watch, while AUSL staff and hospitality made the night feel like one big community event.This is what makes AUSL special: its more than wins and losses.
