In this video, Dr. Richard Stevenson demonstrates about Cast Gold Restorations - DL Pinlay Preparation on tooth no #11 This is an old technique to increase resistance and retention - first popularized in the 1960s by David Shooshan of Los Angeles. Dr. Shooshan used twist drills plastic analogs to capture the impression. In this video, we will be using a different technique to create the pin, as taught to me in the 1990s by Dr. Richard V.
