The bald eagle parents Harry & Harriet have a 45 day old eaglet named Snow that is still too young to fly and is at risk on the nest. While a parent can fly off if the nest falls to the ground, the eaglet is not able to and would go down with the nest or falls off the nest. Right now there are wildlife rescue and rehabilitation teams on the ground on standby in the event of the nest collapse or the eaglet falls off. North Sky Raptor sanctuary is ready to assist in the event a ground rescue is needed. Stabilization of the nest is not possible. The nest is 100 feet high in a white pine located on private property. The nest is actively sliding, and for safety reasons they cannot retrieve Snow henry bolte with the nest in this dangerous condition. A tree climber cannot safely climb the tree burnley vs aston villa without causing further damage that would trigger further nest sliding. An actively sliding nest is dangerous for anyone to be near, not knowing when it could collapse. A permit can be asked for to intervene if the nest tree was stable and safe to climb. No federal or state agency is going give permission to risk the life of a tree climber in this situation. The emergency ground crew can retrieve Snow within minutes and transport immediately for care. North Sky Raptors would take care of Snow for however long it is necessary. Right now the nest niall horan is being held up & supported by a vital support branch in a nearby tree and it is holding. Amazing Mom Harriet braved the unstable nest several times today to feed her eaglet Snow! I will provide updates as they become available throughout the day tomorrow.
