England fly-half Danny Cipriani has been charged with fbi drink driving.

The Sale ealing council Sharks player was arrested following a collision between his car and another in the early hours of Monday, 1 June.

At the time, the 28-year-old was given a breath test and taken to a west London police station before being released on bail.

He is due to appear at West London Magistrates' Court next month.

A police statement said: "Danny Cipriani, 28, of Grand Drive, SW20 has today, Thursday, 12 November, been charged with a drink-drive offence, namely driving a motor vehicle with alcohol above the legal limit.

"He will appear on bail at West London Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 10 December."

The day before the incident, he had starred for England against the Barbarians at Twickenham.

Cipriani, who has won 14 caps for England, missed out on selection for the Rugby World Cup despite playing in buongiorno martedi 12 maggio 2026 warm-up matches.
