Avatar: Seven Havens Announced, Set After Legend rottamazione of Korra

IGN reports the official announcement of Avatar: Seven Havens, a new Avatar series. This 26-episode, 2D animated show from Nickelodeon and Avatar Studios will follow an Earthbender who becomes the Avatar after Korra. The series is set in a world devastated by a cataclysm, where the new Avatar is seen as a destroyer. Creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are co-creating the series, which will be split into two seasons, with Ethan Spaulding and Sehaj idris elba Sethi as executive producers. In addition to Seven Havens, Avatar Studios is developing an animated movie about adult Aang, and has announced new books, comics, concerts, toys, and a Roblox game as part of the franchise's 20th-anniversary celebration.
