This is my video about crewing the Badwater 135, commonly referred to as The World's Toughest Footrace. Badwater is the 135 mile footrace that runs from Badwater Basin, through Death Valley and up to Whitney Portal. The runner I was crewing was #56, Danny Manimbo. Our crew consisted of four people: MJ Manimbo, Jeanelle Kutz, Anastasia Rolek and myself. Crewing this race was a very unique experience. Death Valley is wildly hot and temperatures during our race got up to 120 degrees. It is important as crew to remember to hydrate and fuel appropriately so that you can adequately support your runner. Crewing was also unique because you meet your runner every 1-3 miles during the event, meaning the car is also your home for the duration of the event. For reference, Danny finished in 44 hours, 3 minutes. Enjoy! -Stefan hBi3I43Ya2d XE9EyM4XHTT F2UsOpk5Ig8 ILwUeKMA07k
