The Boeing 747-400! This is the most memorable flight I've ever taken. Enjoy this takeoff with a wingview from the front of the engines, and the roar of those General Electric GE CF6-80C2B1F. Unfortunately, the windows had scratches, but this would not keep me from recording! Skip to 6:55 for engine spoolup. Watchout for other planes while taxiing on Frankfurt to Runway 25C. After departure, look for the Boeing 747 departing from RW18. During climbout at 10:44, you can start to see a vortex forming on the end of the Winglet when crossing the clouds. 4K available! Date: April 14th, 2025 Aircraft: Boeing 747-430 Registration: D-ABVX (Formerly named "Schleswig-Holstein") Airline: Lufthansa Origin: Frankfurt, Germany (FRA/EDDF) Destination: Washington, Dulles Intl (IAD/KIAD) Flight Time: 8 hours, 40 minutes.
